This Japanese company makes masks that resemble famous people. The most popular mask right now is Joe Biden, the projected winner for president of the United States. Not only did Biden win the election, but now he has the most requested mask as well!
この日本の会社は有名人に似たマスクを作っています。 現在、最も人気のあるマスクは、米国の当選確実な大統領のジョー·バイデン氏です。 バイデン氏は選挙で勝っただけでなく、最も多くのマスクを要求されています。

One of my favorite anime series of all time is about a space pirate who fights for what he believes is right.  The series stars Captain Harlock and was first created by Leiji Matsumoto in 1977.   Then popularized in the 1978 television series: Space Pirate Captain Harlock.  The emotion and story found in this series is rarely seen in other anime these days.  The music is also well-thought-out and fits the story exceptionally well.  It truly is a masterpiece.
私が昔から好きなアニメシリーズの一つは、自分が正しいと信じていることを求めて戦う宇宙海賊の話です。  このシリーズはキャプテン・ハーロックの主演で、1977年に松本零士によって初めて創作されました。   そして、1978年のテレビシリーズ「宇宙海賊のキャプテン・ハーロック」で人気が出ました。  このシリーズで見られる感情や物語は、最近では他のアニメではほとんど見られません。  音楽もよく考えられ、ストーリーに非常によく合います。  まさに傑作です。

日本のお菓子

I bought some Japanese snacks!  They all had very interesting and unique flavors that I’ve not tasted before.
日本のお菓子を買いました。今まで味わったことのないとても面白くてユニークな味でした。

1. First off, rikishi mochi monaka. These are wafer cakes filled with bean jam.  I don’t like anything with beans very much, so the taste didn’t really fit my tastebuds very well, but it did have a sweet taste.  Maybe I could get used to it if eat a little each day.
   まず、力士餅。これらは、あんこの中に餅が入ったウエハーです。 私はあんこの入ったものはあまり好きではないので、味は私の味覚にぴったりではありませんが、甘みがありました。  毎日少しずつ食べると慣れるかも知れません。
2. Next up, sour lemon candy challenge.  I easily won, too bad lemon guy!  The chewy outside is not sour at all, but inside is a slightly sour lemon flavor.  I’ve had far more sour candy before.
   次は、酸っぱいレモンお菓子に挑戦！簡単に勝ちました。残念ですねレモンマン。なかなか噛めない外側はまったく酸っぱくありませんが、内側は少し酸っぱいレモンの風味です。  私はもっと酸っぱいお菓子を食べたことがあります。
3. Super energetic, Anpanman!  Contained 8 gummies that are pulled out of a mold stuck to edible paper.  They had a light grape flavor to them.
   元気百倍、アンパンマン！　食用紙に包まれたガム8個が入っています。  それらは軽いブドウの風味がありました。
4. I’ve never had the newly discovered Ruby Chocolate before, or this version of KitKat.  The chocolate had a fruity taste, and together with the nuts and berries tasted good.  I think I like these better than the normal ones!
   新しく発見されたルビーチョコレートと、 このバージョンのKitKatは食べるのは初めてです。  そのチョコレートはフルーティーな味で、ナッツやベリーが入っていて美味しかったです。  普通のものよりこれがいいと思います!
5. This is a steamed yeast bun with some sort of white filling.  I like this better than the monaka, but again this didn’t really fit my taste buds.
   これはある種の白い詰め物をした蒸し酵母のパンです。  私はモナカよりこの方が好きですが、これもまた私の味覚に合うものではありませんでした。
6. These Rice Cakes were rock hard… I think they need to be cooked before eating.  I will look up how to cook them and try it again later.
   この鏡餅は固かった。食べる前に、料理することが必要です。後で料理の仕方を探してみて、また食べてみます。
7. I’ve had Ramune before, but this was a different flavor.  These flavors were good too!
   私はラムネを飲んだことがありますが、これは違う味でした。  この味も美味しかったです!
8. I like these.  However a topping of some sort I think would go well with them.  There is a cheese and sticks treat in America that tastes much like this.  These sticks taste a bit better though.  Maybe some cheese with these too would taste great.
   私はこれらが好きです。  でも、ちょっとだけトッピングしたらいいと思います。  アメリカにはこんな味のチーズとスティックのおいしさがあります。  しかし、このスティックは少し味がする。  これもチーズと一緒ならもっと美味しいかもしれません。
9. These taste a lot like Jello except they are more fun to eat.  You have to suck and bend the plastic containers until you get all of the treat out.
   これらはジェロとよく似た味だが、食べるのが楽しいです。  全ての中身が出るまで、プラスチックの容器は吸って曲げなければなりません。
10. Out of all the treats, I think I like these the best.  The seasoning and flavoring just seems well thought out, and they have a slight barely noticeable spiciness to them.  They kind of remind me of a dried-up seasoned American tater tots.
    私はこれらのおやつの中で一番好きです。  味付けもよく考えられていて、少しだけ辛さがありますが目立ちません。  干上がった味付けされたアメリカのtater totsを思い出させてくれます。

Overall, a very interesting experience!  I would now like to try some everyday foods ate at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
全体的にとても面白い体験でした!  これから、私は朝食、昼食、夕食で食べる日常の食べ物を試してみたいです。
